I originally started this blog to talk about my quest to do 30 Bikram yoga classes in 30 days. I was going to start mid-April 2008 then in mid-July 2008, but that didn't happen. Finally did 30 days - April 2, 2009 - May 1, 2009! Also attempted the Bikram101 challenge starting on Jan. 1, 2010. Made it to 54 classes in 60 days. Took some time off from my mat and will now practice (and blog) when I feel like it :)

Day 13 - almost halfway but totally in the weeds
Another crazy crowded class this afternoon. I think I'm going to have to do morning classes next weekend. I'm a bit in the weeds at this point - going to class is feeling like an obligation rather than a privilege... but I have noticed one thing. Before I went on my vacation, I was having headaches in the afternoons at work almost every day. I started the 30 day challenge right after I got back from my vacation. I've only had ONE headache at work in the two weeks since then. JUST ONE! And I think that was maybe caffeine related, not stress/tension related. So I do feel like the challenge is helping my mind/body even though I am not exactly enjoying it at this point in time.
