I originally started this blog to talk about my quest to do 30 Bikram yoga classes in 30 days. I was going to start mid-April 2008 then in mid-July 2008, but that didn't happen. Finally did 30 days - April 2, 2009 - May 1, 2009! Also attempted the Bikram101 challenge starting on Jan. 1, 2010. Made it to 54 classes in 60 days. Took some time off from my mat and will now practice (and blog) when I feel like it :)

I love yoga, but omg I am tired of yoga
Day 23. I definitely would not have gone to yoga tonight if it wasn't for this challenge. I was super tired and took a 20 minute-ish nap before heading to class. I do not recommend this. Also I have turned into a super sweaty yogini. Not sure when that happened, but I am now the person who drips with tons of sweat and manages to get her mat all wet during the warm up. Super sexy. Good times.

my daughter does hot yoga and I've had the pleasure of smelling her clothes and mat, not good. Keep it up, I admire you.

Well, you are showing a good sign of progress, a! Hot yoga helps the body work harder, as working in a heated room increases heart rate. In addition, it is a great way to detoxify. You being sweaty just means that you’re flushing toxins away from your body.
Mathias is right. You’re showing great progress on your workout, a. It might be exhausting, but that’s the price you have to pay and enjoy in order to get and stay fit. How’s it going now? And, are you trying other kinds of yoga too?
